My mood while writing this blog: hmmm |
hi ladies...
i feel kinda stupid for even writing this- but i have a quick question. i was NEVER sick when i was pregnant with my son. the entire pregnancy was easy sailing. so my question is this.... what exactly IS morning sickness.. do you have to throw up? or can you just be on the verge of throwing up. the reason i ask, is because for about a week now- i have felt like im on a boat with the worlds worst waves! it feels like im sea sick all day long. early last week, i was taking a shower and bent down to shave my legs and i threw up... just from bending over! it came out of no where. All day, after that- it felt like it was brewing right at the back of my throat- just waiting to attack. if i breathed too deep or burped- it actually came up. it was gross. it hasnt happened since, but every day since then, i feel like its going to sneak up on me.i read horror stories of women that have morning sickness- but are non stop throwing up.. which isnt the case with me. so i was just wondering-- is this my case of morning sickness..aka "all day sickness" or what? i know every pregnancy is different- and im 900% fine with feeling this way if its my bodies way of telling me things are ok. i just didnt know what to classify this as. so i would greatly appreciate any feedback!
thanks in advance =o)

Saturday, 4 Jul Completely normal! That is Morning Sickness for sure...once in a while you actually vomit but for the most part, for me, it was all day nausea! BabySaunders -
Wednesday, 1 Jul Isn't it lovely? I find it comes and goes. Some days I won't feel sick at all and other days I'm breathing gently to try not to lose it! I hate throwing up so I'm doing everything in my power not to. Yay for healthy babies though! PeapodMommy -

Wednesday, 1 Jul Thats still considered "morning sickness." Kind of a very misleading term, but that's it. It hits everyone different, and every pregnancy different. It's a good sign though, they say. cantwait4two -

Wednesday, 1 Jul I felt constantly sick for 6 weeks and was never sick, that's still classed as morning sickness, everyone suffers differently, some people don't get any sickness or nausea, hope it doesn't last long for you but it's a good sign, I've had 4 pregnancies and this is the only one I felt sick with and the only successful one xx sindi-and-justin -

Wednesday, 1 Jul welcome to morning sickness!! Yes its a lie because it lasts all day! I would get a tickle in my throat and have to pull over the car on my way to work to puke because coughing gagged me! It was awful but mine only lasted till about 12 weeks I think. BunnyMama -
Wednesday, 1 Jul Yea thats MS. I had it really bad and had to be admitted to the hospital for two days because of dehydration. You won't always throw up but the feeling is there...which is worse. I always felt better after i threw up. Nausea by itself without the vommiting sucks... i was put on meds to help with mine and i haven't thrown up in the two weeks since i got um so i'm elated! kingsmommy -
Wednesday, 1 Jul Yep, definitely sounds like morning sickness to me. I had morning sickness with both of my pregnancies up until 18 weeks. I was throwing up multiple times everyday though. It's funny that you call it seasick because I used to tell my doctor that I felt like I was having motion sickness. If I would stay in bed all day I'd be fine but that isn't really an option haha. I was eventually put on medicine for it so I don't even have any home remedies to cure or help it. Good Luck!
