My mood while writing this blog: happy |
the drs office called this morning, while i was still sleeping- and left a message on my phone. he said everything from yesterdays u/s looked fantastic, but because of how the baby was laying- the u/s tech couldnt get certain pics at the right angle. When i go back on the 28th hes scheduling another u/s to see if the baby moved so he can get clear pictures instead of ones that are of the baby all squished up next to me. he said not to get worried because he can still see everything good.. he just wants better pics. soooo looks like i get to see my baby again. (i shouldnt be worried right???? )

Friday, 9 Oct HOORAY! A Boy! I'm so happy for you. At my 20 week Mr. Owen had his heart directly under my belly button and made it hard for them to get clear pictures. I wouldn't worry at all. It sounds like a lot of people have this happen. Did I mention I'm so happy for you?! Shellie77 -
Thursday, 8 Oct Dont be worried at all! The same thing happened to me during my 20 week scan and they wanted me to come back and get another look at his heart. Nothing was wrong, they just couldnt do a complete assessment with his position. orone -
Thursday, 8 Oct it sounds to me like he's just being super careful and probably wanting to make 100% sure everything is fine so he can tell you that with absolute certainty given how everything went the last time. I found my doctor to be very accomodating this time around after our loss last fall just because she wanted me to know that this little one was perfectly ok. that is partly why she is inducing me tomorrow since my son got into trouble after he was overdue...she doesn't want any concern on my part. I'm guessing your doctor is just being super sensitive to your needs which is awesome. blee71377 -
Thursday, 8 Oct That's great... you get to see you baby again! When I had my ultrasound, I had about 4 ounzes of coke. I don't drink soda, but my sister suggested it. I drank it about 45 minutes before the appointment and the baby was very active. =) readyfor3 -
Thursday, 8 Oct no don't be worried. at my NT scan the tech typed on the report "POOR VIEW POOR VISIBILITY" but didn't ask me to come back. hmmmm fruitful -

Thursday, 8 Oct Nope, don't worry! The Dr. just needs the measurements, etc. that they could not get the first time around due to baby's position. Baby gets an extra photo shoot! yay!
