| 18-1-2010 - mucus plug? |
My mood while writing this blog: ok |
so for the past few days, when i wipe there is this snotty stringy discharge left on the toilet paper. it doesnt really have that much color to it- mostly a cloudy white/yellowy color. i never had anything like this when i was pregnant with my son, so its all pretty new to me. the first time i noticed it there was so much of it i had to wipe a few times to make sure i got it all. i looked some stuff up about it, and im unsure if this is considered to be part of the mucus plug. it said some people lose it all at once, or in stringy "globs" i have an appt on wednesday- and i have no contraction type pains- so im not really that concerned. the only other pain ive been having the past few weeks is a constant stabbing pain in my vagina. i had talked to my dr about this last time, and he said it was normal, the baby was just pressing on my cervix-and things were just "getting ready". it gets so bad sometimes when i stand up from sitting down- it almost drops me to the ground. it literally feels like the baby is going to fall out. i dont think im going to make it another 5 weeks- thats for sure!
xoxo

Monday, 18 Jan With both of my boys I lost it in a big clump ... there was no mistake about that. I talk to my nurse about that stuff that you are talking about and she said that was nothing to feak out about. It's your body just getting ready to have a baby and it wasn't my plug. Maybe th pugdunn -

Monday, 18 Jan I started losing parts of my mucus plug around 35 weeks and thought I had lost it all until the night before I went into labor at 39.6 weeks I lost a huge glob with quite a bit of blood in it. It's different for all women, some don't lose it until they are about to go into labor and others start losing little bits here and there and don't go into labor for several weeks. BabySaunders -
Monday, 18 Jan I've never had any experience with the mucus plug. I don't think I've lost mine and this is my first baby so sorry I'm no help! Lol. Sorry you're so uncomfortable. Hopefully baby comes soon to relieve some pressure! ashley-blesseddaily -
Monday, 18 Jan Sounds like mucos plug to me. I lost mine with my daughter about the same time 33-35 weeks and I was induced at 37 for preclampsia, so I really don't know how long I would have went without being induced, but I was on edge every day! lol NinaBo-Bina -
Monday, 18 Jan I haven't quite noticed the discharge yet but I know it's just next. I don't think I will make it to my induction date of Feb 26th either. I get a lot of BH. I swear it always feels like Jack is gonna come now and then it stops. I will see how big Tiger is on Wednesday. i just wanna know that if he is born early, I can take him home and that he will be healthy! mmyof3angels -
Monday, 18 Jan Oh boy! All of those sound familiar. I have been having the same pains...and my doc told me that it is just her getting ready and putting pressure on my pelvis/cervix. I really hope that it goes away for you soon! My doc told me I could take extra strength tylonel...but that stuff is like candy to me :(
