20-1-2010 - 35 week appointment

My mood while writing this blog: ok

I had my 35 week checkup today, all was good. my only complaint was the nurse entered my weight wrong into my chart on the computer. i saw what i weighed on the scale, i had gained 2 pounds from two weeks ago... which is fine- but she entered it wrong, so to the dr, i had LOST 7 pounds. when he came in he gave me a little "lecture" about losing weight, and i looked at him like he had 2 heads because i had no idea what he was talking about. when i asked him what he was talking about he said " well amber, youve lost 7 pounds in two weeks... you cant lose anymore weight" i told him i had gained 2, i saw it on the scale myself... but he wouldnt listen. i was sittign there half naked because i was getting my step b test done-- so its not like i was just going to get up bare assed and stand there on the scale. i was just annoyed that he wouldnt listen to me. after my appt was over and i was dressed- i stood there with my husband and weighed myself again and sure enough... it was the weight i had seen earlier, not the 7 pound loss they think i had! Not that any of it matters.. i just DO NOT want another lecture next week when i go, and someone with a brain weighs me and enters my weight... and then they think i gained the 7 pounds i "lost" today.. plus whatever i do end up gaining. my husband doesnt seem to think this is a big deal, but to me it is- so it just frustrates me that next week i have to argue with whatever nurse i end up having that the nurse today messed up.

other than that- everything was fine. baby is head down still- when i asked the dr to check me today he said 35 weeks was way too early, but i insisted anyways because of the pressure ive been having- i just wanted to be sure. im not dialated or anything, so hes still good in there. =o) im just getting anxious to see my handsome guy!!
