09-7-2010 - Wyatts 4 month check up

My mood while writing this blog: happy

Hi ladies!

we had wyatts 4 month check up yesterday ( it was a few weeks late, because the drs office was really backed up this month) Everything went great- he didnt even cry that much when he got his shots, i was surprised. I think Charlie was more upset than he was! haha The look on Charlies face, when the dr pulled the needle out of the box- was priceless.. i had to keep telling him it wasnt for him! poor guy! Wyatt weighed in at 16 pounds 7 ounces and is 26 1/2 inches long. Mamas big boy!!

We started feeding him cereal when he turned 4 months, and he wasnt too crazy about it- but ate it anyways. Charlie was the same way- refused to eat it, even when mixed with the food. Not too long after that, we started wyatt on carrots and he loved them. we're up to quite a few foods now, and he loves them all- no surprise there!

Hes such a happy boy, always smiling and always laughing. Charlie makes him laugh all the time- which completely melts my heart every single time. I'll try to do the same thing Charlie is doing that gets him laughing, and he just looks at me like im crazy! must be a funny brother thing, that mommy isnt allowed to do!

I still cant believe how big theyre both getting- they keep me so busy that this pregnancy is going by super fast already. i cant even believe that im going to be 15 weeks on saturday! i had an appt 2 weeks ago, and it went really well. h/b was 160 and ive only gained 5 pounds so far. i have a strong feeling its a girl this time, but we'll see in a few weeks. Charlie and i have been talking about it- and i think if its a girl, it will be our last. If its another boy- we're going to try one more time- but 4 is our limit. i dont think we can handle more than that!! I'll be over the moon happy with whatever we have, i love my two boys- and wouldnt trade them for anything in the world, so adding another would just make it that much more special!

We told our baby news to the world about 2 weeks ago and have recieved so many congrats and well wishes! it made things so much easier than hiding it from every body! i was so nervous i was going to recieve lectures and negative comments- but havent had any, which was really nice!

Hope everyone is doing fantastic! We're in the middle of a heat wave and its hit over 100 a few days here... not too fun for the babies and me! we've been keeping cool in the A.C!
