| 01-5-2012 - 9 weeks 4 days #2 - another scare | My mood while writing this blog:Ok |
Hi Ladies
Just a quick update from me. Just got back from a week in Morrocco but it wasn't the best holiday at all. Seems pregnancy and holiday don't mix for me (last time I was pregnant we went to Thailand in the 1st Trimester and I got food poisioning and my hubby got Dengue fever). So this time we both came down with a 24 hour flu bug. Being pregnant it took it out of me for 3 days though. So I felt rough Mon-Wed. Thursday we had a nice day, but then Friday my hubby came down with the same bug and spent literally the whole day in bed. Which left me to look after our 21 month old on my own. She insisted on being carried everywhere that day and I totally over it did it. I got her to bed, then went to the toilet to find the same as a couple of weeks ago - a lump of mucus with brown blood running through it (sorry TMI!). I can only assume that is was part of my mucus plug due to my carring my daughter around too much that day. But it has obviously scared me again. I'm waiting for my midwife to call me back so I can get reassuramce from her that its relativly normal.
I am booked in for my 12 week scan on 21st May - 20 days to go. Can't wait to see Peatoo again and know that he/she is ok.

UPDATE: I have now spoken to the Early Preganncy unit and they are having me in for another scan on Thursday 3rd May. Please hope and pray for me that all is ok with Peatoo.
