My mood while writing this blog: frustrated and relieved |
wow what a day! Okay so get a call at 9:30 and doc says be here in the next 30 minutes or we can't do the U/S today. so I rush to find a ride cause my husband is working, wake my 14 year old to watch his brother for an hour until my husband is home on break and get friend to drop me off. So they take me in to do the U/S and shes doing it and at first its ok, she started at my groin and going down. By the time she reaches my knee im sobbing and crying and pleeding with her to stop cause it hurts so bloody bad. And I am totally not a whimp I had two babies with no pain killers so I know I can stand pain but this shit hurt soooo much. So I get through that and she does my calf then gets me to go wipe the goo off my leg and im sitting there and get super dizzy and pass out. She freaks and calls the nurses to come take me back to ER. My blood pressure is like 102/58.. then 101/57... then 100/58.. then back to 103/57... all over the place but never highter then 105 for over an hour. So they decide to start an IV and turn me into a human pin cushion because im cursed with very small veins. Last time they had to give me an IV they actually used a baby sized needle. Ok so the U/S came back fine its def not a clot but even the tech said there is something very wrong with my leg that I was hurting that bad from her pressing on it. So same idiot doctor who talked to me the first one, but not the one who ordered the U/S. All snotty rubbed in my face it wasn't a clot. Yah ok so you were right but now atleast i know im not going to croak or lose my leg asshole. His reason is that blood test can be positive from just being pregnant which seems a pretty ignorant reason not to do the test when pregnant women are more prone to blood clots. But anyway. Still no idea whats wrong with my leg, they say it has to be muscular and now are sending me back to my GP if its still bugging me to see a specalist. So endured three trips to the ER, painful US and jabbing IV and fainting to be no better off then I was before with knowing wtf is up with my leg. Oh and ontop that even when I fainted and my BP was so low they never checked on the baby so I feel worried now, luckly my regular U/S is tomorrow.

Monday, 15 Jun WTF??? They didnt even check baby...IDIOTS...I swear they are useless, and as for the names I could call the doctor, grrr. You know he should have been "yes, there is no clot, thank god, lets see what it is?" surely??? The docs over here would!!! It could be something so simple like a trapped nerve, argggh. Give a good ole moan at your midwife, hopefully they can help in some way? xxx Take care xxx
