05-2-2009 - 8 Weeks, injections and lots of new pics!

My mood while writing this blog: happy

Poppy had her first injections yesterday and she was so good! the nurse did them both in her thigh and she let out an angry cry while i was brave and held her then 5 minutes later she was fine and had forgotten!

She also got weighed yesterday and at 8 weeks weighs 12lb 11oz!! shes my chunky cherub and has nearly grown out of her 0-3 clothes already! shes feeding around 4 to 6 oz every 3 to 4 hours through the day then sleeps for around 9 hours a night right through! lastnight it was 10 hours 10pm until 8am and then i woke her up!

shes such a happy pleasant baby always smiling and cooing and very chatty making noises all the time! she must get that from me..i couldnt ask for a better baby giving me all that sleep on a night i know im really lucky!

shes just about grown out of her moses basket so were moving the cot into our room tonight people have said just put her in her own room with her sleeping allnight but i cant let her just yet! its me whos not ready not her! haha..
