23-7-2008 - Officially 2wks old!

My mood while writing this blog: Blessed

My little Topher is officially 2wks old today and he's doing great! Besides me not getting any sleep at night, things are good..lol. He wakes up every 2hrs to eat, but now were trying to put him back on every 3-4 hour feeding schedule. Were also trying to break him being so spoiled. Believe it or not that's easier, I think that was more us than him.

He had his first eye dr. appt. this past Thursday since being home and everything was fine. He no longer has any appointments with them since his eyes are no longer premature.

He is eating so much now that he's almost the big 7lbs!! Preemie clothes are a thing of the past and newborn are just right so I'm predicting he won't be in them long either.

He's now trying to lift his big head which is funny to watch. He also rolled over on July 15th. I think we were shocked and scared.

Happy 2 week old birthday!!!! Congrats on the progress as well!!! Anelise is officially 1 week old...seems like a long road to travel here...but it's been 6 weeks since she's been home already! I only have 6 more weeks to be with her and to get on some sort of schedule. Scary, isn't it? Glad to hear about your son's eyes. My girl's eyes are still immature...and it may take 4-10 more weeks. A little scared about this...but I pray all of the time. In any case...congrats.....
