So, it's finally 2008! The year my baby will be born. I had a little scare today. I had a bit of spotting earlier and it wasn't tooooo much, but enough to scare me. I called my OB office and the doc on call wanted me to come in for an ultrasound. So, of course I did. Baby is fine, but I have placenta previa, which I know, isn't toooo awfully bad. That and she had said it was only a part of the placenta that was covering my cervix. Most likely it will move by delivery but if not, then I have to have a c-section which I really don't want to have to do. But as long as baby is good. Anyway, I have to rest for the weekend and am not supposed to do any heavy lifting or exercising. Got to relax and keep an eye on the bleeding. If it gets worse, go to the ER. I pray it doesn't get any worse and that the placenta will soon move out of the way. I still have an ultrasound scheduled for Jan 16th and then I see the doc after that. I wonder if it'll move any by then. I think that until it does move out of the way, I'll have ultrasound ever 4 weeks. Which will be nice, but I seriously hope that this resolves itself by the time delivery comes around.
