So I had my hopefully final doctors appointment today! Everything is going great! This morning I lost a huge glob of blood, it was more mucous than clot. And since then I've been having tons of mucous with bloody streaks in it. Doctor says it's all normal and a great sign that things are on their way! I've also been nauseous and I've had the runs, which according to my doctor, are good signs too! Haha, they may be good signs but man they aren't fun! Anyway, I'm dilated 5cm and 70% effaced and she can touch his head! Not sure what station he's at though. Either way I've made some great progress. She thinks that the baby will probably be here before Thursday but even if he isn't, he will be by Friday because Thursday morning at 7am, I'm heading in to L&D to be induced! Unless they have too many inductions for medical reasons that day. Which they probably won't, but she just said I'd be bumped down on the list if there was.
I am being induced because all of our family lives 3 1/2-4hrs away and it just makes it so much more easier to sort of plan it out. I called my MIL this afternoon and let her know how things were looking. If she doesn't hear from us by the time she gets out of work Wednesday then she'll head up here that night so she can be here Thursday morning to watch our 3yr old. I really don't want my 3yr old in the room when I delivery. That's something I think he doesn't need to see! I don't want to traumatize the poor guy! Anyway, we'll see if I make it to Thursday... Ya never know!! But I'm totally freaking stoked! I still can't believe it. Neither can my hubby. He still can't even believe that I'm pregnant again!! Haha!! Even to me, it's all still kind of unreal!
