13-7-2008 - Morning Sickness in Full Swing!

My mood while writing this blog: nauseated

Oh girls.....

I woke up this morning, jumped out of bed because I was running a bit late for class.... and I started rushing around to get my things together.

..... not the best idea.

Within 10 minutes, I was nauseated, my mouth was watering, the room was spinning, and I was on the verge of dry heaving. I thought that a sandwich might make my dizziness go away and it turns out that the smell of chicken & morning sickness is a horrible combination.

My husband came home early this morning from a golf tournament that had been cancelled due to weather and he found me on the couch with all the lights off and my head in my hands.

He's been incredibly supportive.... I don't know what I would ever do without him.

So then.... I go to class (two hours late), sit there for 6 hours of lecture, and come home grumpy & tired. I tried to take a nap but couldn't get to sleep and here I am with a terrible belly ache and no appetite.

I'm so happy that this baby is reminding me that he or she is growing strong.... but I feel terrible for being such a grump with my husband after all of his support. I'm thinking of getting him a card & a couple's massage as a thank you for putting up with all of my crazy emotions.

Oh... and the belly growing.... is not stopping. I'll be posting my 7 week picture tomorrow & you can all see what you think. My poor body is ever growing by the minute.... it's amazing. I have to wonder if I must be farther along than I think I am or else I'm having quadruplets! :)
