| 24-7-2008 - Symptoms at 9 weeks... |
My mood while writing this blog: exhausted |
9 weeks today! It's very hard to believe how quickly things are going! I'm a little suprised that my symptoms at 8 & 9 weeks have been far worse than they were before.
I'm very excited about this since it's constant reassurance that bub is still growing right along but.... I'm really looking forward to a break from school so that I can get some much needed rest.
Symptoms that have really been prominent recently are:
- Sore Boobs~ much worse than ever, they hurt just sitting here.... and they're growing by the day!
- Headaches~ these have just come up in the last week or so.... and they're much worse in the mornings.
- Big appetite~ I don't feel hungry very often but when I eat... I eat more than I ever have. I rarely leave anything behind on my plate.
- Emotional/Moody~ This isn't going away it seems.... I'll cry at the silliest things and little things will send me over the edge. School has been especially stressful so I'm looking forward to a break there.
- Lack of Patience~ when I'm hungry, I want food NOW and when I'm tired, I want to go to sleep right then. I feel very selfish sometimes when I start begging Zach to stop at a restaraunt because I HAVE to eat! He must think I'm a crazy person... I just know it. Thank God for him though- he's handling it really well.
- Nightmares~ I have the most horrible dreams. Last night, I dreamt that I was miscarrying & on Monday night I dreamt that I was spotting. Talk about being ecstatic when you wake up and realize that it was only a dream!
- EXHAUSTION~ by far, my biggest symptom- from day 1. I'm so so so tired ALL the time. I could lay down at any time & sleep. It's so hard to stay motivated to get things done. I feel terribly lazy.
Our break from school starts next Friday and it will last for 3 weeks. I am beyond excited to not have to worry about school for 3 weeks. What a relief!
When I start back to school this fall... I will just be starting my second tri-mester so I'm hoping that things will be much better & I'll be a lot less tired. I graduate at 27 weeks.... so I'll be just ending my second tri-mester.
Talk about God's perfect timing! I'm praising Him constantly for working this out so well! Now if I could just get through to next Friday... I'll be in perfect shape!
7 more days until school is out! And... 10 more days until we hear the heartbeat again! I'm so excited!
~Congrats to Minkymoo!!! I'm sure that your tests are not lying! I'm so excited for you dear!~
Hope everyone is having a wonderful Thursday! :)

Thursday, 24 Jul Ok, to sum things up...
*your boobs will feel better in the second trimester but hurt just as bad if not worse when you make it the third. Just know that "leaking" -nothing major but upon stimulation you can tell and you may wake up a bit wet...this can happen as early as the beginning of the 2nd trimester...sad but true.
*headaches ease up. If you drank caffeine before you got pregnant and then gave it up completely once you found out you were preggo..that can be why they are here. I still allow myself to drink 1 cup of coffee in the morning and then it's water or Crystal Light the rest of the day. I haven't had ANY headaches this entire pregnancy.
*Appetite....haha, get used to it! Until you are too big and the baby is squishing your stomach, therefore you constantly feel full, you will be like this. I actually had to eat every two hours (at least a little something) or I would be starving and nauseous.
*Patience, nightmares, and exhaustion are here to stay! I cry at the slightest thing these days and I am 28 weeks with my 4th! Hormones are in over drive with this baby for some reason. Not only do I cry over nothing, I will also scream at you if you look at me the wrong way. Most of my dreams have been about animals and really weird all together.
Even though all this comes at you at once...I know you are soo happy to be experiencing it. mamacourser -
