oh man how do you handle it?! I have avoided the doppler because i would listen everyday lol!

Yes, that was definitely the baby's. Your heart would not be beating that fast. I'm glad everything worked out!

I think it was definitely the baby's heartbeat. It would be too fast to be yours. My doc had a hard time finding the heart beat of my lil one too. It's because they have so much room in their right now they keep wiggling around. lol

Today I went to the doctors for my 2nd official prenatal visit. The goal was to listen for the heartbeat. The doctor placed the doppler on my stomach and.....NOTHING!!!!! I was terrified. He called the nurse to bring in the ultrasound machine!!!! Much to my relief there he/she was upside down, kicking his arms and feet. I was unable to see his profile because he kept changing positions!!!! The doctor says I have an active baby.... UH OH!!! (smile) Well as soon as I got home I was anxious to try out my new fetal heart doppler. I was able to find the heartbeat right away. The heart rate was 141....... I hope this was the babies heartbeat and not mine ..... What do you all think????
