03-10-2008 - Just wondering

My mood while writing this blog:

So last night I broke down crying to my husband Mike after a long day of people telling me just how huge I was! It seems like no matter where I go or what I wear people tell me that they can't believe how big I am. Last night my Mother-in-Law told me that I was going to look like the lady on 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' because she was huge! And then there's this lady at my work who everytime she seems me swears that I'm having twins! I know my belly's growing but c'mon people, I'm almost half way through my pregnancy and only gained 12lbs. I thought I was doing ok, but the way everyone's acting is just making me feel like a huge cow!

Mike says that he thinks I look good and everything but I told him last night that it's just hard when all you hear ALL day long is "Wow...Your big!" or "Your boobs are huge!!" (Like I'm not already aware of that!!!) He gets upset at me because he thinks that I don't believe him or something when he tells me I look beautiful, but it's just hard when 1 person tells you that and then the other 10 just tell you your huge! I just told him that I thought this is the time I'm supposed to feel beautiful and not have to worry about having a belly or looking fat. I would have just never imagined people saying the things they are saying, at least not so often! I know whenever I would see a pregnant woman I would of never even thought to say something like that! I've always told them how cute they look, ect. Finally yesterday at work, after one of the girls said I looked like I was having twins for the thousand time, I got so frustrated and asked if I was really that huge?? She said "Well we're just so used to seeing you small." Well what do they expect when your pregnant?? That I'm not going to get a belly! I keep telling them that I think I'm pretty average. (At least I feel that way when I look through the bellies in my week)

Anyway....I was just wondering if anyone else is having to deal w/this??? I'm just feeling so down and was wondering if I'm alone. Please help!

HEY U!..GUESS WOT?...i feel the same as u!...everyday people stop me were ever i am and open there mounth well wide..and say u got a big bum havnt ya..or hello fatty!...i think they muct think that it doesnt effct me...and that they think there complementing me..but i F****** hate it!..its like this morning i put on a big baggy top cioz im going to work/collage, for the last time and havnt bin 4 2 weeks...n i no iv got biger over then 2 weeks ...so as i got tin the taxi first bloody comment of the day...ur getting big now aint ya?...duh i f****** KNOW! i keep complaining to my mum & b/f wen sum1 comments me, and i get so angry!...dont worry u aint the only !!...just cant waittill im skinny again so i can be like...AUGH IN U F****** FACE!! haha! Xxxxx

OH sweetie! You look darling! People don't now what to say and your sucha skinny mini that they probably are amazed to see you prego.. Believe your hubby - My hubby gets mad if I don't believe what he says over others as his opinion should matter most! I think some people may have inwardly been jealous of you and now they see it time ot make a cruel comment about being big. I think this was the case with a friend of mine. Just forgive and move on! Your cute and being prego is so special!

I get so frustrated when people make comments about how "big" a pregnant lady looks. I mean SERIOUSLY, sometimes its just rude. Not to mention we are so emotional already, the last thing we need is people telling us how huge we look! I MEAN HELLO, its not like we have a hard enough time not feeling like gigantic whales, thanks a lot people!! ERR!!

It doesn't get any better. I have 29 days left and someone told me today I'm so huge that people will think my baby is a toddler when we check out of the hospital after birth.

If people tell you that you look like you are having twins, well then I am having quaduplets!!! All of the other women said it best, you are beautiful and looking just as you should.

YOU KNOW WHAT....GIVE ME THE LIST OF NAMES AND ADRESSES OF EVERYONE WHO SAID THAT SH*T ABOUT YOU THEY'RE GOING DOWN. MAN YOU KNOW WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE TO ME, WHEN PEOPLE DO THAT, THEY EITHER DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY, OR THEY ARE JEALOUS. LET ME TELL YOU I WOULD KNOW. YOU ALREADY FEEL BIG , AND THEN WHEN PEOPLE TELL YOU " YOUR BIG" IT MAKES 10 TIMES WORSE. TIFFANY AFTER LOOKING AT THOSE PICTURES, I WOULD SAY YOU NEED TO EAT! HAHA YOUR STILL SOOOOOOO TINY. I DID NOT LOOK LIKE THAT AT 19 WEEKS WITH EITHER ONE OF THE BOYS. SO YOUR LUCKY! HAHAHA! IGNORE OTHER PEOPLE ,I KNOW ITS HARD. BUT YOU LOOK SOOO TINY AND PRETTY PREGNANT, ENJOY IT, AND MIKE THINKS YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL THATS ALL THAT MATTERS! ( AND ME ) HAHA. AND YOU KNOW WHAT, YOUR ONLY 20 WEEKS SO THINK ABOUT ANOTHER 20 WEEKS YOU WILL GET BIGGER. BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER.ENJOY IT WILL BE OVER AND DONE BEFORE YOU KNOW IT, AND YOU'LL BE BACK TO NORMAL. LOVE U!!!

Well I dont have many people around me a lot since Im not working and Im at home with our daughter, but I soooooo know how you feel. I wake up thinking what am I gonna wear?!?! I have NOTHING that fits really. (bottoms atleast) I wore my regular jeans with our daughter up until she came really, now there just not comfortable. So Im wearing dresses and leggings on the REGULAR!!! Then I go grocery shopping at Target and saw some cute dress things, and tried them on.....YEAH ...NOOOO!!!!!!! I feel like I look like shit:) Nothing looks right on me, fits properly, or is "stylish" enough for me. UGHHHHHH....cant I just wear a Moo-Moo until he comes:) LOL

awe sweetie do not let that get to you!!! i just looked @ your pics & i think i was definitely BIGGER than you @ 19weeks..i dont think you look huge at all..thats why im like whaaaaaaat? but my boyfriends parents have been saying that to me this whole time & his mom is fat im like umm..im STILL smaller than you..haha! i love her to death but i just laugh it off. anyways. your beautiful & remember this is a beautiful thing!

Don't let them get in your head.I know it's difficult i had the same problem with my first. I used to be very tiny before got prego and everybody had some " nice" comments on my weight gain. I've also gain much more than you. Most important is u are attractive for your husband. I felt the satisfaction when after having my daughter i lost the weight very fast. just tell them it will go away and u feel beautiful and happy that your baby is growing as it should. Don't worry its just hormones getting to you.

Girl you know I'm going through the same thing! We are not that far apart and it drives me nuts...it's gotten to the point sometimes when I'm at the KH that people won't say anything, they just stare and I don't know what's worse...it's like c'mon people I'm almost 6 mos am I not supposed to grow???
Trust Mike and realize you are right on track and as long as your dtr is happy and baby is healthy, doesn't matter what others say. My answer to everyone is "that's just what a preggo woman wants to hear is that she's fat" that usually shuts them up.
You look adorable and I'm not just saying that.
My fave saying is---"wow February? You're not going to make it! It's gonna work out...think about holding your baby!

yeah I hear stuff like that all the time and I either ignore the comments or say gee, thanks sarcastically! lol ur pregnant and from ur pics u dont look huge u look like ur suppose too look! dont worry I bet these people dont mean to hurt ur feelings.
