19-12-2008 - Last day of work

My mood while writing this blog: Sore

A couple weeks ago I got a call from my work telling my that the retail store I work for was filing bankruptcy and we would be closing.

I wasn't planning on working much after the baby, but it sucks losing my job only a couple months before Addisyn is due. Winter is a hard time for us and any extra money helps! I feel so bad for all the girls I work with also! It's just so sad after working there for over 3 years!

Anyway, So for the last 3 weeks we've been having a "Going Out of Business" sale. I got the call yesterday that they were closing the doors and if I wanted to come in and help I could. Of course I wanted to because I wanted to help and say goodbye to everyone too!

When I got there they were very strict w/me telling me I better not lift anything! (LoL..I love those girls!) Well I didn't lift a thing but I did do alot of packing,making boxes,folding,walking, ect.

After about 5-6 hours of work my back started hurting and I was thinking "Oh no...I think I over did it!"

Well.....I did! LoL....Last night my back and legs were hurting so bad and I was laying in bed and could not get comfortable! I tried to get out of bed this morning and can barely walk!

It's just crazy to me that I'm this sore from not doing that much! I'm finding more and more things everyday that I can't do. (Like putting on my Uggs standing up! LoL! I think I pulled a muscle the other day just trying!)

I love Addisyn so much already, and it will be weird not feeling her move inside me, but I will be ready to have my body back! I miss doing the normal things and not being in pain! At least she will be here in less than 10 weeks so it won't be much longer! It's all worth it anyway!

So now I'm offcially not working anymore, and Mike is layed off for the winter because he does concrete work and it's too cold outside! We keep joking around that we're going to kill each other this winter because I normally work more this time of year w/christmas, inventory, ect. So this should be a very interesting winter, and I'm sure it will make these next 10 weeks seem even longer than normal!
