My mood while writing this blog: Bored |
Ok, Sorry for blogging twice today but I have a dilemma.
We've been wanting to get the 3d/4d ultrasound done but we really don't have the money to do that right now so we've kinda forgotten about it. We need a glider and changing table that we were planning on getting that instead.
My Grandma called me today and told me she's been wanting to buy Mike and I a gift for Addisyn but didn't know what to get. I guess earlier she had talked to my Mom about the 3d/4d ultrasound and my Mom had told her we wern't going to be able to afford it right now. So my Grandma suggested to me that she would like to get that for us as a gift if thats what we want.
I'm just so torn! I would LOVE to get the ultrasound done but I don't know what to do. Should we do that or ask her to get the glider for us instead?
Of course Mike is like "I think we should ask for the glider.", and I agree it's more practical, but we were already planning on buying it in a couple weeks anyway. Plus I would love to see what our daughter looks like right now!
So now he says it's all up to me! I was just wondering what you ladies would do?
I'm very sentimental and sometimes have a hard time making decisions, and Mike just doesn't understand! I guess I just need some womanly advice! LoL
So if you ladies could leave some feedback I would appreciate it! Thanks! :-)

Saturday, 20 Dec Just think about what you really need pictures of your unborn baby or a glider to sooth your baby to sleep. I personally am not getting a glider I really don't feel it's something I need. I think it's just one of those things they make you think you need so they can make money. But everyone is different. I did do the 4D ultrasound and it was an amazing experience but that only lasted 20 minutes. Lucky for me she was in a good position sometimes the baby isn't in a good position and you wont get good pictures but you'll still be charged. I know how hard it is. I have a horrible time making decisions my self. Just think about what's more of a necessity. Oh and just a tip if you do the ultrasound drink lots and lots of water 2 weeks before that makes a huge difference on how well your pictures come out. miracle 3 -
Saturday, 20 Dec I would do the glider!! Seeing your baby will be comming so soon and you will be so happy to be able to get both the glider and changing table you need!!!! (you will use them tons longer too! - vs - a picture meaning a lot but being put away in a book) Plus if the glider and ultra sound cost similar you can see if the finances are there to do it after you have what you need.. Saturday, 20 Dec The glider!! U'll see the baby soon enough! *&* when you do it will be a suprise!! I had one w. my first son(3d ult) and I didnt like it. Most on here came out awsome but mine looked freaky. His eyes looked like they were in the back of his head. aloha.ma -
Saturday, 20 Dec I would do the glider, and Ive done the 3/4d u/s. Its noce to do but I was a bit disappointed on what it exactly shows. You'll get to see baby's nose and lips really. So in the end its your choice, but dont have any regrets!!! pregalicious mami -
Saturday, 20 Dec I would go for the glider! It's much more practical. I agree with the fact that the 3d/4d is awesome but the glider will last a lot longer IMO...let me know what you decide! audreyy09 -
Saturday, 20 Dec i would probably go for the ultrasound since it will be a nice gift and its kind of a once in a lifetime thing that will be cool for your daughter to look at when she gets older....i really wanted to get one too but i also dont have all that money to spend plus my little ones ALWAYS in the wrong position for ultrasounds so idk if id be worth it lol but good luck deciding..either is nice! eminsana -
Saturday, 20 Dec I would ask for the glider. I would love to get the 4d U/S as well but same as you it is just too much money. If my mom or grandma gave me thre choice I would choose the glider. It will come much more in handy. :-) Good luck with your decision!
