27-1-2009 - 36 week Dr\'s appointment

My mood while writing this blog:
Excited!

Well I just got back from my 36 Week doctor's appointment and it went really good!

I have been having alot of BH contractions this past week and the past couple days I'm pretty sure I've been having a few real ones here and there. So needless to say I was really hoping the Doctor would check me today and say I've made some progress.

Well she did check me and I'm 3cm dilated, 60% effaced, and the baby is head down! Whoo hoo!! She said if go into labor they won't try and stop me. My next appointment is next Wednesday, or if I even make it there as she said!

I know it could still be a couple more weeks until I actually go into labor, I'm just so excited that I am on my way there!

I had my 2nd baby shower on Saturday and we got lot's of stuff! I'm so grateful to have such amazing friends and family! So we've got the glider & changing table all set up now too! We went and bought the last few things we needed yesterday and her room is pretty much complete! I will post pics later!

It's so crazy she could be here any day now! I'm trying to catch up on house work and everything so we will be as prepared as possible if she decides to come soon!

omg thats great!!! Congrats! I have my 36 wk checkup tomorrow. I hoenstly have a feeling I am not dialating. I will be one of the unlucky girls who goes to like 41 weeks. haha! Oh well, we will have to see. :-). Congrats! I cant wait to see your lil baby!!!

YEAH well we might be seeing you soon then. We will look forward to the call. Mike said to do it on a weekend so we can come and enjoy our time with lil Addy and not be rushed he is still taking time off he just got 1 more week Vac so we are set lol.... Love Ya..

Yeah I wanna say congrats to the 3cm...but Id be lying:) Im still sitting here at 4:( Hopefully your body doesnt play tricks on you like mine is! It seems like everyone is going though...so Im sure you will soon. I would forsure get everything ready now though....cause you could go anyday! :)

wow i'm really hoping thats how my 36 weeks appointment goes today. I'm in the same boat as you, i've been getting a lot of BH but the past few days i feel like some are def. real contractions because i'm cramping along with them and they are pretty consistent! i'm praying i'm dilated and making progress like you! congrats!
