My mood while writing this blog: Happy |
Tonight at 7:03pm Addisyn is now a month old! I can't believe it, Times already going by so fast! She's doing really good too! We've only really had a few rough nights, but other than that she sleeps a few hours, wakes up to eat, and goes back to sleep. She's still sleeping in our room in the pack-n-play though. I'm just not ready to move her to her room on the other end of the apartment! I still like being able to hear her and look at her whenever I want to make sure she's ok! haha.
To change the subject a little...I've had this really bad rash on my legs, and a little bit on my arms for about 3 weeks. It looks alot like the PUPPS pregnancy rash (even though I know thats not what it is seeing as I'm not pregnant anymore). It itches like crazy and nothing helps! I've tried almost everything. I went to my Doctor and he has no clue what it's from. I can't think of anything different I've used such as shampoo, lotion, ect. either. I'm just totally baffled! My Doctor called a Dermatologist to get me an appointment, and the soonest they can get me in is May 21st!! Can you believe that?! I'm miserable and thats the soonest they can get me in! Hopefully the rash is gone by then because I don't think I can take it much longer! Does anyone have any suggestions on something to help w/the itching??
Anyways...Congrats to all of you who've had your babies! Motherhood is way better than I could of ever imagined! I love my baby girl so much and I don't know what I'd do w/out her already! I still can't believe we've already had her a month!

Tuesday, 24 Mar Hi
I read your blog and just thought i'd send you a quick message to say i feel for you as i had pupps to and it made me miserable. Just to let you know you can get pupps after you'vr given birth but it is rarer.
Nothing much helped me only really I was eventually given hydroxine an antihystamine but apparently taking dandelion root helps and drinking nettle tea helps. Keeping cool by having cool showers or put cold towels on the rash does help to soothe a little.

Saturday, 7 Mar Wow. I can't believe she is already a month old. She is so precious. It makes me so excited to meet my own little girl here in the next little while. =) I have no idea what that rash could be from, but usually hot water and hot blankets, etc can make rashes worse. Try some benedryll since you are nursing and/or cream, after you take a cold shower, or at least run the cold water on your legs. congrats on being a new momma! i bet you love it. eminsana -
Saturday, 7 Mar Hey! Wow, a month, thats crazy! I broke out in hives a week after I had Evan. It has been a week today since I have broken out and my feet still are bad but it has gotten a ton better. I wonder if it happens to women after they have a baby!? I dont know. There is really ntohing you can do if you are breastfeeding except for take Benedryl. I also bought the Benedryl cream and I put it on my feet (doesnt really help though). I have been just trying to tough it out. I hope it gets better!! Mommy with three cuties! -
Saturday, 7 Mar try to go to your family doctor, ask them for this stuff called Trimamcinolone Acetonide cream. I use it for my girls eczema. I hope you feel better. :) By the way Addisyn is just adorable!
