| 22-7-2009 - Are your babies having this problem? | My mood while writing this blog:Trying to stay cool, ugh! |
HI ALL... :)
Hope everyone is having a good week, thus far... I have been SO busy at work the last couple weeks but thankfully we have a vacation/trip coming up the end of next month to the Oregon Coast and I'm sooo looking forward to it, not only for the time away with my hubby and kiddos but because the Oregon Coast is gorgeous!
So anyway, on to my question.... Are your babies eating less than usual due to these HOT summer days? I can only imagine how hot it must be getting in some parts?! We are in Seattle and have been getting some VERY HOT days as of late especially for the Pacific Northwest! Poor little Ethan is only eating a few ounces at a time sometimes, especially at his night feeding and therefore back to waking up 2 or 3 times through the night instead of his typical one, he is eating just 2 or 3 of his 5 ounces! The good thing about here is that it's not too hot, too often, so A/C really isn't necessary and we have always gotten by just using fans and keeping windows open for the 6 years we've been here since leaving Colorado, however, I'm really starting to think about investing in a window unit for these 90's days that creep in on us?!
I really can't blame the little guy for not wanting to eat as much through this heat! I have had 3 kiddos but don't recall this being an issue for Makayla even though she was born in June and Cody was born in December so by the time summer came he was sleeping through the night... Either way I'm just wanting to see if your little one's are having that problem???
