My mood while writing this blog: Ok |
ok... just checked the checking account... we have 24 and some change in it at the moment. we are going to visit my parents tomorrow... $80 round trip, need to pay over 230 on the electric bill, and over 130 on the phone, plus pay over 80 on the cable... plus my husband has to pay dues of 60 tonight for his lodge. plus my husband needs atleast 150 to work next week. not to mention the things that are out that haven't gone through yet which is probably over 100... so his paycheck needs to be over 830 at the least for us to be able to hang on a little longer. praying we hear something from SSI on our oldest's case soon... oh and I forgot we have to pay atleast 120 on the 10th to pay on the loan he took out on his van... not doing well at all and nothing left to sell or pawn. we need the phones for his job, the cable and internet for our oldest's school, and our home phone, the electricity... just because we need electricity. oh yeah and he has to get his van inspected and needs to get the lights fixed before he can do that... so he'll be working on that this weekend.... God will provide, so I keep telling myself... but right now I feel like I am in quicksand with no where to turn for help...

Monday, 3 Jan well the phones are on contract, for a couple more years. as far as the library for the internet, that would be ok, but there are live lessons he has to participate in and that means listening and talking...but seriously thinking about dropping the extra cable channles (we get the basics free through the trailer park we're at...) lilybeesmom -
Friday, 31 Dec Last summer I dropped cable. We watched old movies (went to Salvation Army and picked up VHS's 2 for a $1. Lowering your phone plan a bit may also help.. Boost has unlimited text, media and minutes for $50 a month... hard to beat. I think most have dropped home phone service because of the expense. Your son can always use the internet at the library. Cut some of the extra things now and you can add them again in a little bit when things get easier. I can't imagine raising a family of 4..almost 5 on one income.. right now it's me and my daughter on my one income and i know it's tough for us. It was amazing what we didn't "need" once I started cutting though. Good luck! purpleunicornandi -
Thursday, 30 Dec loan a no go... our credit sucks big time... as far as getting a loan from my parents, my dad has had some major medical problems this last year, and they just don't have the money to be able to help us out... (he was actually in the hospital the last time I asked if they could help... I found out a couple days later...) prayers are greatly appreciated right now... the depression is a constant threat right now... Kimbeenjosh -
Thursday, 30 Dec Hey girl, I hear ya on the money thing. Is there any way that yall can take out a loan? or Borrow some money from your parents, and then pay them back? I know it is a really crappy situation to be in, and it's actually an awful feeling, feeling like a burden on your family, but that is what family is there for sometimes :( I'll keep praying for you. God hears these prayers. You just gotta keep your faith, and keep believing. I know it is close to impossible right now, but He WILL take care of you and your family!
