23-10-2008 - NEW ATTITUDE

My mood while writing this blog:
POSITIVE

HOW COULD I BE DEPRESSED WHEN I GET THIS LOOK FOR JUST BLOWING A KISS AT MY GIRL?! I DECIDED TO HAVE A NEW POSITIVE ATTITUDE WITH MY RELATIONSHIP/FAMILY. I HAVE SLOWLY BEEN GOING DOWNWARD INTO A DEPRESSION - POST PARTUM - ANXIETY - WHO KNOWS - BUT IT MADE ME HATE LIFE AND MY RELATIONSHIP SUCKED AND I WAS UNHAPPY EVERDAY WHICH MADE ME PUSH THE KIDS AWAY SO THEY WOULDN'T FEEL MY UNHAPPINESS.

SO NOW I AM GOING TO JUST DO WHAT I HAVE TO DO TO BE THE BEST MOM AND PARTNER (WETHER HE APPRECIATES IT OR NOT IS ON HIM) AND JUST NOT TAKE ANYTHING HE SAYS IN A NEGATIVE WAY OR TAKE IT PERSONALLY - IF I AM TRULLY DOING MY BEST AND I AM BEING PLEASANT AND HE STILL CAN'T APPRECIATE ME OR BE NICE THEN IT'S NOT ME - NOT MY ISSUE AND I WON'T ALLOW ANYONE TO CONTROL MY EMOTIONS ANYMORE.

MY FOCUS IS MY BABIES! LOOK AT THEM! ONES A 2ND GRADE GENIUS AND THE OTHER IS MY LIL HEART!

That's a very healthy attitude and if you are able to stick with it I'm sure you are going to feel much happier and less stressed. I know you can do it! :)

One more thing (maybe you should change your occupation now that you've taken this newer positive outlook on life) HE! HE! JK-Somedays I go to work and wonder why I'm there too :)

I understand what you are saying. I feel like I get so negative some times that I don't appreciate all the good things in my life. I appreciated your blog and I can relate :)
