11-8-2008 - Scare today...now bedrest.

My mood while writing this blog:
nervous

So today I woke up with severe cramping and some spotting at 5 a.m. BOY, was I scared. I rushed to the ER...the babies were fine and my cervix was closed. They wanted me to call my OB when I got home. He had me come in today instead of tomorrow for my cervical U/S though. Said it (my cervix) is about the same length as last week. He put me on bedrest until I go back next Tuesday though bc of the spotting and also one of the babies has a low lying placenta. He's hoping it will move on its own and not turn into Placenta Previa. I'm taking it easy.....my son is at my MIL's for the next two days and I'll be here in bed.....thinking positive thoughts!

when are you due again
i had my ultrasound monday we are having two m0ore boys
so that willl be 6 i told the hospital i wanted something done after these two lol i had a scare tuesday i woke up and when i wiped i had some brown felt achey all day but all is good the dr said one of my placentas is at the front a little low but should be fine that the scan tech probably upset things inside with all his pushingi have had a vomitting virus which is worse than morning sickness meant to be packing so was the last thing i needed

I am so glad that you guys had fun camping. It would have been terrible if you'd started having the cramping/bleeding then. I hope everything turns out okay. I'm sure your son will miss you for the next two days, but it is wonderful that your mother-in-law is watching him to give you some time to rest. Keep me updated on how you're doing. You'll be in my prayers :)

oh no! please take care of yourself and the babies...i will be constantly praying for you...i'm great, definitely look pregnant now, not fat...baby didnt spread its legs, was too shy to show its thingie, so have to prolong the anticipation till next month to know if its boy or girl...keep me posted...

oh... everything will be fine rebecca..just take that rest u need. and pray. i am also having the same problem my last ultrasound showed a low lying placenta. well i am praying it will move up. dont want to get a c -section. take care dear.
