13-9-2008 - diaper rash issue okMy mood while writing this blog:
ok

For the past month or so my daughter has had a diaper rash. It will not go away, sometimes it looks a little better and then it gets really red and she screams when I wipe her bottom. I have tried butt paste, balmex, A&D ointment, and I have taken her to the Dr and he prescribed cortizone and another cream to use... and nothing is clearing it up completely. She uses huggies diapers and I asked the Dr if it could be the diapers causing the rash and he said it is unlikely. I am going to switch to pampers and see what happens. If anyone knows of home remedies or anything that I havent tried your advice will be appriciated.

I know this is really late but we have this stuff here called butt butter (I think) its butt something it is brownish colored and in a tube with a baby on the front and I tell you what it is the greatest thing in the whole world.

Hey girl!! My daughter went through the same thing. I would suggest switching to Luvs. They are cheaper and hypoallergenic...i switched to them from pampers when Samantha had a nasty rash as well. Hope it works!
