03-6-2010 - Update on Aidan with pics

My mood while writing this blog: blah

Okay so Aidan is 18 months old since the 25th of May. So he's 38 pounds and 34 1/2 inches tall. He's bulky, but not fat. The doctors have commented he is tall and since his father is 6'5 it should really be no surprise. The pediatrician says that Aidan will one day be a foot ball coaches dream and thinks we should definitely encourage him to play sports when he's old enough.

Aidan also has a lazy eye, his left eye likes to go inward. So we are setting up an pediatric eye doctor appointment here soon to get that all straightened out. He's not saying too much except his own jibber jabber and perhaps "no", "dog", "hi" and "hi there." Also "ba ba" which he means his milk bottle. He may not say much but he sure does know how to show you what he wants. He will drag me by hand and take me to a door he wants open because he wants to go play upstairs with the dogs. Or he will hand me a milk bottle wanting more milk and try dragging me out of seat if I'm not fast enough. If he wants a toy he will take me to it to retrieve it. He understands way more than he says.

He also very imaginative now. He likes to pretend he's a doggy and mimic the way they act by panting, crawling on all fours, attempt to eat their food and try eattinng the way they dog and "bark" like one. He absolutely loves dogs. If he's not being one, he likes to drag his dalmation dog beanie baby around and act like its a real dog and play with it. He also loves cars and trucks and plays with them on the ground a lot. He mostly only plays with stuffed animals if they are dogs except for one thats a sabertooth that I'm guessing he thinks is a dog too.

These are pics at my parents house. So the woman in the pic with Aidan is not me, but my beautiful mother. He's playing out in my parents pool. Oh sorry about Aidan's hair being a mess he got his bangs chopped after these were taken and his father refuses to cut any of his other hair for right now.
