Thanks for all yall's comments, it meant alot!!
Well, I had to go to my appointment today and wow she just told me last week I was just getting an ultrasound and having a regular appointment, haha. But instead when I came they led me to the ultrasound room, they performing a test like counting his movements, him practicing his breathing and then measuring the amniotic fluid. My little dude was wonderful!! They said they could see his four chambers of the ventricles of his heart perfectly (I think I said that right lol). Then after they did that, gave me a couple pics and went into another room and had to stay in there for twenty minutes. They hooked me up to where you hear your baby's heart and it see if you are having contractions. The little guy didn't like he could feel a band around me and on top of his so he was moving around in there and couple times it kinda hurt lol.
Then after that was done I had to wait for a room that was open to wait to see my doctor. She came in and checked I was 1 cm dilated, 20-25% effaced, and -1 station. She thought last time I was 50% effaced so I'm get my butt moving a bit to get things going a bit. She then told me my induction date is still November 25th so thats good. Right after that I got a flu shot because my doctor recommended, if she hadn't I wouldn't. However, she says it builds the baby's immunity system.
Okay one of the best parts when I got home my dad's cousin came over and brought something for me, it was from my great grandma!! My great grandma, or aka my son's great great grandma got the baby something. She got him an cute ornament, which will be his first ornament, this huge penguin that appears to be plush or like a pillow, but when you open up there's a beauitful cover inside. And then she this pretty blue blanket that has a bear on it with angel wings and a cross on it. I'm just really happy that my son will have something from his great great grandma because its not often when someone has a great great grandparent thats still alive. At least I did anyways.
And then.. literally in 5-10 minutes later a UPS truck came by, we were a bit confused because we hadn't bought anything as of lately online. So it turned out the gift was for me. I open it and inside that box was another box but giftwrapped beautifully with words on there that looked foreign to me lol. When I opened, there was some extremely nice clothes for a baby boy, and when I mean nice, I mean probably stuff that I can afford. The outfits were too beauitful. Well, anyways it turned out it was from my other side of the family, my mom's cousin's wife, Cathy and her mother, Delores got these nice clothes for my son. Cathy, her husband who is my mother's cousin had died last year, but me and him were close. We used to joke around and say I was his daughter because of the dimple in my chin just like him since we are the only relatives in the family who have that. I was deeply upset when he died from cancer. So it was nice getting a gift from his wife and on her giftcard she says "I hope he gets a dimple on his chin too." I can't wait to send her a thank you later to tell her how much I apprecitate it.
Well, my parents took me to the hardware store today finally, since I know nothing about what paints to use and finally had gotten the paint I needed for my son's room. Probably start painting tomorrow, gonna try to go back to sleep in a bit so I can get up early and move some stuff so we get finished tomorrow with the painting thats going on. I might be staying away so I'm not near that toxix smell until its finished drying and ventilated well.
Again I want to thank all of you so much!! It meant a lot and though I was angry at the time at my grandmother, I do know she means well and that she doesn't know whats she saying sometimes. Funny enough she was in high school when she ran away and got married and got pregnant at my age, so in a way I think because she knew what she went through she thought she was looking out for me. Which it would of been fine if I wasn't pregnant, but being already pregnant and so very late in my pregnancy and have been working my butt off trying to get things prepared before the baby is here and at the same time keep up with my studies (which has been stressful lately because I'm almost finished with this semester), it was certaintly not the time or place to discuss about me being pregnant.
