So, I got my bellybeats doppler...I know I cannot hear the heartbeat yet, but I am ready...You can hear the blood swishing through your placenta though and it is a nice sound. This is what the baby will hear also when the baby starts hearing. So, it''s all good. I had to get this because when we lost our little one in '06 the embryo was there, just the heart wasn't beating; so I need this reassurance and can't wait until can hear that little heart beating. I imagine at my appt. on the 18th I will see the heartbeat...can't wait. I feel like everything is good, my numbers are high and increasing every 1.5 days or so and that tells me things are looking good. I definitely have symptoms, never had symptoms this early before but this whole pregnany (the WHOLE month of it-haha-lol) has been strange.

ooooh this should be fun. i'm jelly cos we won't get it. we read somewhere that it actually sounds very very loud for the baby in there with the sound waves bouncing around. enjoy

I wanted one of those when I found out I was pregnant because of my 7 losses but I was not able to afford it. Enjoy when you do get to hear the heartbeat!
