22-7-2008 - BFN

My mood while writing this blog: ok

Well, AF is due today. I tested and got a BFN. If I'm not pregnant by Sept, my doc wants me to go in for testing. He still doesn't think there is a problem other than stress, but I'm starting to get really frustrated. DH and I once again had a huge fight, and I'm not sure we'll make it if this continues a few more months. I wish my doc would do the testing sooner, but he wants to wait 6 months.I told DH that if I'm not pregnant by Sept, we will start treatments right away. I have several friends who told me that it has taken them more than 4 months to get a BFP, but I have had it! The stress is too much on us, so I need to take some action. I might look around to see if I can find another doc who will do some testing now. We are leaving to go to Europe for a week, starting August 2nd. We need the break, as between ttc and my unhappiness at work, there is a lot of tension in the house.

Hey! How are you? I read your blog... I think you're stressing as well. :) I had a friend who couldn't and even tried hormones. Well, that didn't work, so she started drinking a glass of wine a day to relax.. yup, she got preggers. I wish you all the best though! My doc told me I couldn't try until December b/c of my c/s. He said he wanted to make sure I was completely healed. I'm like you, and hope it will be easy as well, so good luck to you!! Are you still working too??

I'm so sorry hun. I wish I could wave a magic wand and fix things for you. I know the stress you're going through. It took us 9 months to conceive our first. That last month I just kinda gave up...we got a bottle of wine and, well, the rest is history! I hope you get that bfp you're looking for really, really soon. {{{HUGS}}}

So sorry for all of your stress. Hopefully getting away will help you both relax and enjoy one another. I can only imagine how frustrating this is for you. I know I'd be the same way. Life has a way of working itself out, though! Hugs to you!

I know it can be way stressful! I've been there. I'm so sorry hun! Stress makes it harder to get preggo. I'm not even going to tell you to try to relax because I'm not sure anyone could. Just try to enjoy each other though. Eat lots of wheat breads. I hear that helps.

:-( Remember that it is still early! Are you pretty regular? Feeling like you are going to get Af? maybe you are just not testing positive yet. I am sure there is nothing wrong! Like you said, it is probably the stress

Oh Res..hang in there.....Your doc is prolly right..stress can do a number on your body. I so remember ttc and hoping AF wont make her visit.....it was frusterating. Take care Res and hopefully this vacation will help relieve some stress. Have some fun....let your hair down...lol....

Sorry about negative results! I hope u find another doctor that will test u right away. Have fun on your trip and rest up so u wont be so stress. Good luck to u!! baby dust!!

oh Goodness Res...I am sorry to hear about your negative results! I remember wanting to conceive and it not working...every month seemed like a disappointment...but PLEASE try to hang in there and remember that it honestly isn't you and your DH making that baby!!! It's someone of a much higher power and all the testing in the world won't change his original plans!!! He is waiting for something.....what ever it may be, try to relax a little! :) Oh...what ever happened w/the house hunting? I really wish you the best of luck, but in all honesty....TRY TO RELAX A LITTLE GIRL!!! :) LOL LOL
