| 30-7-2009 - week 14 | My mood while writing this blog:Fine & Dandy |
SECOND TRIMESTER! Wow, that's just awesome!!! I'm feeling great. The only thing I can report is that I've been having pains in my tummy, which is apparently ligaments stretching.
I went to the GP today for a check up. Basically she tested my wee and took my blood pressure. She asked if I would like to try and hear the heartbeat and I said "WOULD I EVER!" So it took her a few minutes but finally found it and hearing that woosh woosh woosh woosh was just magic.
She also referred me to the hospital, who called me this afternoon to let me know they're sending me stuff in the mail letting me know what will happen from here, and they're making an appointment for me to go see them and have a full check up and ultrasound at 18 weeks. I'm also booked into the clinic to have an ultrasound at 19 weeks, which I told the hospital, but they said THEY want to do one, so I may or may not go to the 19 week one. I might just go so I can see the baby again, or I was also thinking if the hospital can't tell the sex for some reason, I'll have a second opinion, hehehehehe!
Being booked into the hospital really makes GIVING BIRTH TO A BABY a reality. I have been VERY good and haven't started on baby's room yet, but I'm not sure how much longer I can hold off, hahaha.
My 9 year old niece is coming to say with us for a week. I'm picking her up from the airport tomorrow morning so this week is going to be HUGE. We'll have so much fun, but I'm going to be totally buggered by the end of it I know.
Well, that's about all for now. Happy Days indeed.
Smiles,
Tanya.
