| 06-9-2009 - Is it a bird? Is it a plan? No, it's SUPERTANS! | My mood while writing this blog:Fine & dandy! |
Hi All,
WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME? I have been feeling fine but have been pretty lazy and unmotivated since about 8 weeks. I've also been a lot more tired.
WELL! Yesterday I woke up feeling invincible! I was up like a flash out of bed, did some washing and cooked a big breaky while the washing was on the go, ate, cleaned up, tidied the loungroom, fed Chris when he dragged himself out of bed (haha) swept, dressed and off I went down the bay with Tilley the wonderdog in tow. We went to an "arts festival" which I'd seen advertised being held on the waterfront, which turned out to be about 5 stalls and some blokes singing harmony, (some FESTIVAL!) then walked down the beach to the markets and browsed through there, shared pancakes (my dog's not spoiled is she??) and sat on the grass in the sun watching everyone enjoy the beautiful sunshine.
We walked along the beach again, and decided to take the long way home through the park. I had a bright idea to go to the local museum, so Tilley got to sit under a tree while I browsed through.
We got home and poor Tilley was buggered, but me? STILL FULL OF BEANS! So we have a huge wall unit in our bedroom, chockas full of paperback............ I've got the cleaning bug and I can't stop! I cleaned every single book on the shelves and packed them into boxes and categorised some I think might sell on ebay.
I put a roast in to cook while I started on clearing out stuff from the spare room (soon to be re-named BABY'S ROOM!) and then had to inlist some help from Chris (who'd been lazing on the lounge all day :-)) to move furniture, TV's, dressing table etc etc. We had dinner then I was at it again, until Chris made me stop and relax.
I was up again this morning, moving things around and dusting etc etc and didn't want to come to work! I am itching to get home and get back to my re-organising of furniture and rooms.
What the hell has happened to me? Why all the energy all of a sudden after months of being a sloth? I'm now wondering if I'm back to my normal self or if this will be a short-lived phase??
Tanya.
