02-5-2008 - my 21week ultrasound 2/5/08

My mood while writing this blog: happy and relieved

We had our ultrasound today. The guy who did it was lovely and took the time to tell us everything and was very thorough. It was a huge relief to see that everything was accounted for and everything worked properly. I am so happy to hear that word 'normal'. I already knew the sex, so I guess I wasnt anticipating the ultrasound for that reason but it was still awesome to see him moving and rolling and kicking sooooo much. He really wouldnt lie still so the sonographer had to move around my tummy so much to take measurements etc. I also didnt get a clear look at the face and at one point he had his hands up in front of his face like a boxer. Then he actually punched the thing that was pushing into my tummy - dont know the name of it. I didnt get a photo on paper, just a dvd. He also told me that my due date, according to measurements has been moved forward by 2 days so I am looking at September the 11th now. 21weeks and 1 day right now. I think he might just be a big baby as everytime I go I get a new earlier due date - though I know it is just something to go by, and he will come when he is ready. I feel happy and much more content as I hadnt seen a doctor since March the 14th which is 7 weeks or so. Thankfully I had the doppler to check on his heartbeat and since I have been feeling kicks, I have been relieved no end.
