05-7-2008 - WE HAVE A NAME

My mood while writing this blog: EXCITED

Last night we were watching some old movie called High noon and hubby heard a name and turned to me asking if I liked it. I did! I am pretty excited because we had a name but I wasn't quite sure of it, but this one I can live with and he likes it too. He thought of it! But I am not revealing the name though. It is going to remain private until his birth. Not sure why but we both feel it the right thing to do. That way, when we say the baby's name, people will go 'oh right', not 'na I dont like that'. anyway it probably doesnt mean much to anyone else except hubby and I but I am excited about it so I thought I would write. I am also getting a car tonight - a 6 seater to accomodate our family. I am also very excited about that. Hubby is driving it home right now I suspect. He is going to put the baby seat in straight away, well not tonight but before bubby is born. Exciting times ahead!

wish I wouldve thought to keep ours secret, we get alot of negative comments on it, funny thing is the middle name was picked same as your was from a movie and it was hubbys idea

I think you are right about others' comments with regards to your name choice - if before, then everyone is happy to give their opinion (bad or good) but if it is after they wont dare say anything negative (not to your face anyway!) In any case, I am sure that it is a wonderful name that you have chosen!!!! And only you and your husband need to like it!!!!
Getting new wheels is always exciting. I hope you dont have the kind of friends or relatives who are always saying "You've got a big car , you can fit another in ,cant you?"
