Write a new blog
| 28-8-2008 - check up today |
My mood while writing this blog: happy |
I went today for my check up and according to them my due date is 2 days later than the one I go by. 2 days doesnt make much difference. But my blood pressure was fine and the baby seems to be bum up and with his back against mine. We were in and out of there in 10 minutes and that was with 'fluff' talk. It could have been done in 5 minutes actually. Also I dont have Group B strep or whatever it is called. Although I dont have a lot to report I am grateful for that. You never quite expect bad news but often take it for granted when you hear good news but I am officially grateful for the good news and progress. My mum will be here in a week. I am going to spend this week sorting my bag out once and for all and getting a list together so I just need to cross things off as I pack them. I am also going to start packing away maternity clothes that I dont need and get the cradle ready. I have already washed the sheets so it is just a matter of making the bed up I guess. I may also spend this week catching up with a few people I need to. I havent really wanted to see anyone really except for today when I popped over to a friend's house. I dont know if I should admit it or not but I think I am a bit bored. I think I am just used to having things to do.

Saturday, 30 Aug hey darlin'..I read yr blog babies back against yours..posterior??..Try to stay in forward positions as much as u can over next days to turn the back around toward side/front..better labour possy..so not too much laying back and recliner against sofa..come forward onto hands/elbows on floor helps to roatte bubba forward..and some bellydance hip circles leaning forward against a chair is great..all best xx tsj824 -

Friday, 29 Aug Well good news is GOOD news!!!!!
Some women would have a fit at the thought of you not having a bag packed! Not me, I do everything last minute!
My only opinion on the matter is that Hubby may have to do it if you go in either unexpectantly early or it happens in an extreme rush (you know, 30 sec contractions for a half hour - You scream "LET'S GO!!!!" ) And if Hubby does it you then end up with the undies with no elastic, the bra that ISN"T a maternity bra and the shampoo that you are allergic to etc etc Best to choose what YOU want and then there will be less stress.
Good luck with it all!
