| 01-9-2008 - watching the sunrise | My mood while writing this blog:excited |
Every night I get up to go to the toilet but a blocked nose prevented me from breathing properly and so I got up. It was just on one side. I tried everything I could think of to make it unblock and fiinally just braced the cold and got up. Sometimes just being upright can unblock it. So I jumped onto the computer and this website. I answered as many blogs and questions and polls as I could and finally turned to the birth stories section. I saw a few familiar names there and realise that soon my name will be there too. Also reading the variety of stories, I realise that I may not need to go to my due date, but most likely will and will go past it. Maybe it is just my defence mechanism kicking in so I am not too disappointed if the date comes and goes. In reality I have 4 due dates with a span of 10 days in between. The first being the 9th and the last being the 19th. Anyway the bright side of me being up so early is that I got to see the sun rise which I am sure with a new baby I will see a lot but I always enjoy watching it rise and the sky change colour. For me it is an exciting time of day. I heard today from a lady that had two posterior births and they had to use the vaccuum on both births. I dont want that so I am going to follow Maha's advice and try to turn him around. Also I plan on getting back on the wii fit, they have a hula hoop thing where you have to do pelvic circles. I tried it the other day and kept getting painless contractions. and I am managing some light exercise with the wii fit step aerobics. It is much more fun than a dvd which I just dont have the patience for right now. It is now 6.29 and I am starviing but I should go back to bed for a while for my morning cuddle with hubby. Missed parent teacher iinterview with my middle daughter's teacher as she gave me the note last night and the meeting was for today so I may go to the school and see if I can see her. She is in grade 6 so I would like to know how she is doing. Going to the doctor tonight to have a dark spot investigated on my face that wasnt there before. I went yesterday but the doctor said this can happen in pregnancy so I am going back to see a skin specialist. I wonder if they will burn it off. I watched this documentary about a man who has 30 cm long tumors hanging off his face and it all started out with a strawberry birthmark on his face which grew. Anyway signing off and I will read more later.
