03-1-2009 - Mr Tuffy

My mood while writing this blog: loving my boy

Nothing much has happened with the tooth. It is still about the same size and it hasn't really given him or me any trouble. We call Hadley Mr Tuffy as he has been when lying down arching his back and puffing out his chest and while he does this his arms sort of pound his sides. He is still sleeping pretty well and still crying when I put him down, but only for a minute then stops and tries to sleep. We took him to the Botanical Gardens the other day and it was lovely for him to smell all the trees and flowers. I had him in the sling facing me, then in the pram and then in the sling facing forward which he loved. He was really good all day with the disruption to his normal life, but I think it was good for him. Hadley has been using his jolly jumper, still not 100% into how to do it and have a lot of fun but he enjoys being in it and has a bit of a bounce in it. He is now in size 0's mainly. I had to go through all his clothes again and sort out what fits and what doesn't. We are just going to sell everything on Ebay. There is no point hanging onto it. It's a shame because I seriously have more than he could ever wear. Hadley is starting to grip on to my hair and has a firm grip but he still hasn't really grabbed onto a toy with much intention, but yesterday he was in his walker and was swatting at his toys.

My dad has come back from holidays now and my mum is going home. it was so good to see her and spend time with her. Hubby is back at work tomorrow and I should be pretty busy again as some kids who were away are coming back into my care tommorrow. We are having an Australia theme so will doing lots of stuff about it.

The girls are good and the oldest one is taking the bus with her friends out shopping today and it is something they have never done. One daughter had a friend over yesterday and is bored and the other daughter has a friend over. It is going to be hot so I might have a swim but I have a lot to do so I will sign off and need to put baby to bed, bye....................
