Baby sleeping again at 4 months

Hadley turns 4 months old today - the 19th. He has been able to roll for a few weeks now and doesn't spend much time on his back anymore but prefers to be on his tummy. As a result of this he used to wriggle out of his swaddling, so I got worried and stopped swaddling him, as I thought he may turn over onto his tummy and suffocate himself if he couldn't free his arms. So, I put him to bed as is, or in a sleeping bag. This was not very helpful, the poor thing cried and wriggled and got stuck on his tummy and with a hand down the side of the cot. He would eventually fall asleep after many trips back and forth to check on him, roll him over and try to soothe him. Hubby would get him up thinking that he didn't want to sleep, so he would be awake longer and get more tired and be worse cranky when he went to bed again. It got ridiculous as he would only sleep for 30 minutes or so and be tired again. So I tried swaddling him again and hey presto he has gone back to being the good little sleeper he was, I pop him in bed all wrapped up and he goes to sleep. I feel like I know my baby again. I have noticed he doesnt do that startle reflex so much anymore. It slipped away so gradually that I barely noticed. He loves his bathtime and I enjoy it too. I can only fill the big bath up a few iinches as he loves to roll and I have to prevent him from rolling over and swallowing a mouthful of bath water. But it is sufficient for his needs. Hadley has been sleeping well at night time too, til 3 and then again til the morning. Can't complain about that. I love him waking up in the night and coming to bed with me.
