| 03-5-2009 - Finished my course | My mood while writing this blog:relieved |
I have finished my course as the title says. It was an online course and I did it in 4 1/2 months although I had 6 to do it in. I am relieved and can now start catching up on things that I have put to the side. And doing some things in leisure time, which I haven 't had much of since starting the course. I plan to read, make felt toys, crochet, get up to date with my tax entries, play with the kids and clean the house, oh, and spend some quality time with hubby too. For the last few months we have had our backs to each other while I work on my computer and he plays guitar.
Now I have to apply to become a marriage celebrant and I am not sure how long that takes or what I will have to do. But my little bubby boy has spurred me on to finish this course and to start doing something with my life that involves me spending more time with him. So for him and for my reasons, I will put aside any feelings of nervousness and just do what I have to do to make this happen.
My little bubby boy is sooooooo active now. He loves to stand and is very rarely horizontal anymore. Crawling is his fastest method of getting around the house and he can go very fast. He is very agile and strong and he tries to climb over my back. He still only sleeps about 30 minutes about 3 times a day but is becoming a lot better at getting himself to sleep. I have taken strength from other mums who say they let their kids cry it out. All the same, I put him to bed at roughly 9 and 1 and then about 3 or 4, whenever he is tired. Then he later has dinner, a bath a play and bed. I have also remembered the Feed, play, sleep which i had forgotten about completely, and have been trying to get back to that as a friend of mine said that she stopped feeding her baby right before bed and she sleeps heaps better. I have been giving him water in a sippy cup. I dont bother boiling it or anything seeing as he drinks bathwater and that is not boiled and this has not made him sick. So I am going to give him a sip of water before bed and put him down awake. And feed him when he wakes up. He is a very good boy with playing. He loves to explore the house and we have zillions of toys for him to discover. i am also a member of the toy library so I am always bringing him home new toys to play with. He seems to have separation anxiety sometimes but not other times. I left him at home while I went out with some old school friends for about 6 hours and Daddy said he wasn't happy and cried for me and looked for me.
