16-6-2009 - almost 9 months and a little devil

My mood while writing this blog: good

I just had to come and blog today. My baby boy has had a bit of gastro or something. since Saturday he has basically had diarrhea. He is fine with it, not lethargic or upset but he has had really bad nappy rash. The poor thing. It gets better and then comes back. He is still struggling with the tummy bug but eats and drinks and plays well. Last week was the first time I ever saw him get cranky when he can't have what he wants. He will totally cry when you take something off him that he has or can't play with. He has begun throwing things now; food, toys, socks anything. He also does these really cute little raspberries and also will do really violent and fast raspberries often to people's faces. He especially loves to do it when someone says something to him and he has been known to do it when people least expect it. Today we went to the park and he was busting to get out of the pram so I held hiim and then he just wanted to get down so I let him finally and off he went crawlling away fast and digging in the dirt. Then my friend held him and he grabbed her mouth and pulled it, then spat at her. At home, I was changing a nappy and he kept grabbing the face of the boy I was changing so I put him in the play pen while I changed the nappy and he cracked it and screamed the house down. he stood by himself for a few seconds again today. He still loves his food and will drink water from a bottle. He still sleeps with me at night time when he wakes up and he talks in his sleep. Hadley will scream in my husband's ear in the morning and climb on his head and pull and bite on his ear. Well that is all I have to say at the moment. He is still a gorgeous little boy and we all adore him

...ahhh boys!!!.
actually I think the 9 mth mark is a big one..9 in and 9 out..they have a new awakening...
aminah is learning fast too and knows what she wants..can get that grizzly whine if she's tired but not as physical as u have described hadley and how my boys were......she was awake the other nite ALL NITE..it was awful..hot, lots of poos, restless ...wouldnt be out down, even unhappy in my arms and wanted to feed constantly..I was shattered..still recovering and realise how on the verge of tiredness I am..have to slow down a bit on work front for awhile..that old surrender!!!

ps keep thinking to give formula at night!!!!..maybe around 9 mths..just incase it helps her to sleep longer

Haha terrible twos early! How cute. Oh and a fantastic remedy for the rash is hydrocortison (spelling) cream. The docs had me use it on Jacobb when he had a bad one and it cleared right up. Good Luck mamma.
