Awe aren't 1st bdays the best?!?! Happy Birthday to your lil guy. Did he make a mess with the cake? We just celebrated my sons on Sept. 5th. I was so emotional when the time came around that he was born. He loved his cake and made such a big mess. He helped open up the presents and by the end of the night was exhausted. So cute....

Hi - today is my baby's birthday - we had a big party. He got lots of presents and was exhausted from all the partying. He simply loves being outside and yesterday found him with my kids completely covered in sand and water and happily splashing about in a water play tray. Not in it, just with his hands in it! I felt like I didn't speak to anyone much; I guess I am not used to being the host. We also had a naming day which was really beautiful and my kids wrote poems to him which made me cry.
Happy birthday sweetie. A year ago today you came into our lives and made it all the more special. We love you so much and cannot imagine a life without your beautiful face and gorgeous smile and awesome personality.
