29-9-2009 - First Kick on the outside

My mood while writing this blog: EXCITED

Last night I was lying on my bed listening to the heartbeat and listening to bubs moving around loads! As I was listening to the heartbeat - i was looking at the doppler and i heard this massive thud - and saw my belly go up and down.

So I immediately took the doppler off and put my hand on my belly and she kicked me hard again - and my belly and hand went up and down - so I was shouting out for my husband to come and see if he could feel - he did not feel a thing - even tho she was kicking whilst his hand was on there...so we will try again tonight - hoping that she co-operates and lets daddy feel!

It is such an amazing feeling - I just wish my husband could feel it too!

My little tinker does the exact same thing. Kicks like mad and then stops as soon as daddy puts his hand on my tummy. He has felt it a couple of times though. She has kicked me really hard a couple of times more recently and it makes me jump, lol! x

He will, soon! Just be patient and keep trying. Guys just aren't as sensitive sometimes to those subtle things. And our babies just don't like to cooperate, either!
