| 05-1-2009 - Doctors Appt Update | My mood while writing this blog:Pleasantly Pleased |
Hello Lovely Poppet Peeps :o)
I thought I would update you all on the doctors appointment I had today.
So I go into her room, and she has this look of 'oh god what now!' (lol since she has seen me practically every week since Aug!) I then say, 'good news to start the year, I am pregnant' She was so so happy, and kept saying 'oh thats great news' and had a big beaming smile on her face :o)
I then proceed to tell her how wonderful this site is, and that I have had soooo much support from all you guys, and then asked her about possibly doing a check on my hormone levels etc. She said that they wouldnt do them and that it would just tell them that I was pregnant! I did try to explain, but didnt seem to get anywhere with it. Oh well I tried!
Anyway, what she did do, is booked me into the EPAC (early pregnancy assessment clinic) for a re-assurance scan, so I am happy about that :o) although a little nervous. I went on to tell her that it was Darrens Christmas present, and that I gave him the test in a gift box (I was rambling with nerves), she thought that was really great, and such a lovely way to tell him. We filled out all the forms (which will be handy if I get my exemption card before the 14th, as I have the Dentist, and I know they will try and charge me a fortune lol!) Before I left, she said if there was anything that was worrying me, it didnt matter how silly it was, to make an appointment with only her, so that was nice to hear too :o)
Anyway the EPAC unit called me about lunch time, and said that they really only do re-assurance scans between 7-8wks, and offered me an appointment for next week, so I go for my scan Monday 12th Jan at 9am :o) :o/ :o) I have everything crossed, and I mean EVERYTHING!!! lol!
Oh and whilst I had a spare five minutes today, I started counting my weeks, and it works out that my 12weeks falls on Valentines Day :o) Awww cute eh?
Anyway enough of my ramblings, you lovely peeps have far more important things to be doing (OPK's, testing cervical substances, Making Babies, Testing, oh and getting those all important BFP's ;o) xxx )
BIG HUGS & SQUISHIE KISSES
