02-3-2009 - Telling Parents Tomorrow!

My mood while writing this blog: A Little Excited!

Now I know some of you are probably thinking 'why hasnt she told them yet?'

Well here is the story behind it....

When I found out, there were on holiday, only in Scotland, but they werent due back until 10 Jan. So didnt want to tell them then. Plus me and Darren had spoken about waiting unil after our 12wk scan.

So when I got the appointment, it turned out it fell on when they were away again, this time they are on a cruise around South America, and the Antartic! So we had to wait.

Anyway, tomorrow they are back, it is also their anniversary. So I have decided to tell them tomorrow. As it will be a nice return home surprise, and also because its their anniversary, so its a nice little gift.

They will be shocked that I have kept it from them for so long, although I am sure they will be over the moon.

I am a little nervous about it to be honest, which is weird, but I feel like I havent seen them in a long time, and its only been two weeks! However a lot has happened in those two weeks, we have had our 12wk scan, been house hunting like mad, possibly found a house we like, but just waiting for they sellers to make up their mind, and we have opened a joint account :o) (which to some isnt that big a deal, but anyone that knows my other half, will wonder if his ill lol!)

I will let you all know how they take it :o) Fingers crossed x
