| 08-4-2009 - Hi! Its Been A While | My mood while writing this blog:Hunky Dorey :o) |
Heelllloooooo Lovely Ladies.
I am sorry that I have updated in a while, but I have been on reading all your blogs, and replying when I can.
So to make up for my absent-ness, I thought I would write to update you all.
Since my last blog, things have calmed down a lot, which is great :o) We have finally moved offices, and although a little cramped we are cosy and settled in. As for the friends bit, well I decided enough was enough, and put a stop to it! I took everyones advice, and cut them off completely. However I am not going to let her children suffer because of it, and will still sent them their birthday cards etc, their are the innocent ones in this.
Anyway, lets move on. We have been house hunting, and oh my god, is it stressful!! That is mainly because we are having trouble deciding on the same house, I want a house with a garage, he wants a garage with a house! The houses have been great, but he always finds fault with the garden, either they are too small or not long enough to put his beloved dream garage, typical eh! Men lol! We so far have found two perfect houses, which looked really promising, the first one fell through due to the owners changing their minds about selling right at the last minute! The second one was a repossesion, absolutely perfect, although in need of some major work, so we put in our offer, to be told they are not accepting any at that point (err!) So a week passes, and we get a call, to ask if we want to up our offer, so we do. Then the following day get told, someone has gone in with the asking price! ARGH! Now we cant afford to go any higher, so we had to back out, which is heartbreaking, but we would rather have money, than be in debt. So for now we will carry on looking, I just hope we find one before Aug lol!
On the pregnancy side of things, not much to report really. I have been doing great, I had my 16wk midwife check the day after my last blog, she was very pleased with me, and my blood work. She said I had very high iron levels which is good, and strong stomach mucles, which means I may not feel baby move as soon as others, but thats ok, as I have my doppler which is fab so I can check in every now and then :o) I have my 20wk (ish) scan on the 15th so I am excited about that, and seeing baby bounce again :o) We have decided NOT to find out the sex, (after a lot of debating!) You see I would like to, but Darren wants to wait for the big day. Things may change on the Wednesday if I get my way ;o) I have already picked names, but I am not telling him, well if he wants to be stubborn, he aint seen nothing yet lol! I have two for a girl and two for a boy, they go well either as first and middle name or double names, I am sticking with them, as too many and I will get confused lol!
Well thats it from me, I hope everyone is well. Thank you for taking time to read this.
BIG HUGS TO ALL

Don't worry of you don't feel tons of movement early on, with Aurora I had an anterior placenta so it wasn't until after 23 weeks I started to feel her. Having the doppler is nice though so you can always check in and hear what they are up too lol.
If you do cave and find out the sex you will have to let me know ;o) I still guess it is going to be a little girl!
Keep the updates coming ;o)
