14-4-2009 - Will I cave or wont I??

My mood while writing this blog:
Excited, nervous and unsure!

Ladies

I am in a bit of a pickle!

Tomorrow, is my 20wk scan, and although I am very excited about it, I am also a tad nervous. I know this is probably normal, and I am being silly.

But to added to that, is still this fact that Darren doesnt want to know the sex. On one hand I do, on the other I think he is right. I only say this as I am finding the rest of my life soooo disorganised, and that is because I think its the not knowing. I am usually one to make lists for EVERYTHING! I am usually very well prepared, and ready for anything! Phah, not anymore! (and lets face its, it will never be the same again!! lol)

Now if I find out, and dont tell him, I can gaurantee I will slip up at some point, and he will be really upset. I am actually secretly hoping that baby is playing fair tomorrow, and shows us ;o) (by accident of course! lol)

So what will tomorrow bring?? Will I cave or wont I???

Any of you ladies been in this predicament before?

I'm in the same dilemma. Ruben doesn't want to find out and I do. But this will be our third and with our other two we waited till the big day. So this time around I think I'm doing it my way. Let me say this though. Waiting to find out until the big day was really incredible. I think it was especially special for Ruben cause he got to go out to the waiting room and tell everyone that he had a boy.

Im in the same pickle. i want to find out but wayne doesnt. He said I can find out but I know I will slip up and let it out. I have decided to not find out and wait for the surprise at the end. I bet your sooooooooo excited I cant wait and I still have 5 weeks to go.

Maybe this is bad, but I hope the baby makes it totally obvious so you don't even have to worry about it. I get why people want to be surprised...but I just think it's better to know ahead of time so you can prepare. Either way, I hope it all works out for the best for both of you. I know I am dying to know what you are having though, lol! :o)

Finding out is mroe practical i think, you can get sale items and room already, plsu makes you bond more with baby, i found out both times and my next baby(not for few years after this one) i will find out then too!! I liek to know, can choose names for definate and feels like you know baby more x x

I found out with my 2 boys and then with my daughter they wouldn;t tell me and it drove me mad! I really wanted to know this time too.
It's entirely upto you, I wanted to know for purely practical reasons cos it's no4 and we have 3 bedrooms so I wanted to know what I was doing!

I had the same dilemma, Chris did not want to know at all but when I pointed out that all we could buy for the baby was white or cream things and all the gifts off everyone would be white or cream and we'd have to keep calling him 'it' he caved! He's now really glad we know!
