06-6-2009 - 3D/4D Scan Day

My mood while writing this blog: Excited, Nervous and Vexed!

Well today is the big 3D/4D scan :o)

My appointment is at 11.30 (uk time) I am excited about it, and a little nervous if I am honest. However, I have a sneaky feeling it isnt going to go well!!!!

This is where the vexed bit comes in...Little stuff, has been playing up since yesterday! Typical eh? All week its been really really active, but then all day yesterday, movement was limited, I mean I felt it, but only very softly (it seems weekends is its layin days! oh so much like its daddy!). I called the midwife, who said the same as before, in that, baby has probably moved and doing so has moved the placenta too, so I may not feel it as much (Argh!) Anyway last night, baby did a big move, and early hours of this morning. I have had the (heart) monitor on, and all is well there. So I am thinking, the little wotsit doesnt want to play, but we shall see.

If it doesnt go well today, they offer a free re-scan, so I suppose thats a bonus.

So fingers and toes crossed for today, I will keep you posted on how it goes.
