26-7-2009 - I have returned from the centre of the earth! Or so it feels like!

My mood while writing this blog:
tired, itchy, and swollen! A picture of health!

To all you georgous wonderful ladies.

How are you all? Once again I apologise for my absence, however I have been watching from the side lines ;o) reading all your blogs, and being so bloody frustrated that I cant reply grrrr! Any how heres a little update on things.

Firstly to the most important bit (this is essential in my view) Our internet should hopefully be up and running by the 18th August :o) yay, I know to some that is still a while away, but it was the only time Sky could come out and do it. We have had a row with BT who wanted to charge us £122.50 (yep thats right) to install a new phone line, when Sky do it for £25! Big difference eh? So in the end we went with them. Darren done his usual haggling, and got a good deal (his a smooth talker ;o) lol) So they are installing the dish etc, on the 1st Aug, then the line on the 17th. I really really cant wait.

I feel like I am out the loop with whats going on, and I really miss you guys. So ladies that are due around the same time, PLEASE HANG IN THERE LOL! I really dont want to miss anything.

As for me, well... Over the past week or so, my hands and feet have started to get chubby, so much so that my toe ring, and rings had to come off yesterday, with a bit of a fight! And since last Wednesday night, I seem to be itchy ALL over, god it is soooooo intense. I saw the doctor who gave me Piriton, and sent me for a blood test, which came back normal. So it looks like I have another five weeks to put up with it :o( I have the midwife tomorrow, so will discuss any further remedies with her. Oh and I also have aches in my knuckles, anyone else have it? I cant grip anything too well, and first thing in the morning its worse, the rest of the day they just ache. Baby is a little wriggle pot, and moves all day long, but luckly sleeps at night :o)

My tiredness is due to the fact that I am still trying to arrange the house, I have so far re-arranged the kitchen 3 times, and I am still not sure I like it (oh dear!) I am in desperate need to get the babys room sorted, but we are still waiting on furniture, once thats here I can get everything put away, and close the door ready for its arrival :o) I have 15 more working days left, and believe me they cant come soon enough! Woo Hooo.

I also want to say a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to the lovely Tara83, on the birth of her very handsome son Logan :o) Sweetie he is sooo adorable. Update me soon xxx. Rachel, not much longer now honey :o) Emily Rose will be here before you know it ;o) xxx. Lb1, stinky nappies her we come lol! xxx. Viki, I have been thinking of you, and I am sooo pleased at your news :o) xxx. Jen, my little poppet ;o) I miss you sweetie, and you will be the first to pictures of my cave ;o) xxx To ALL who I have missed, you are in my thoughts, and I look in when I can, to make sure you are all safe and well. I will be back with you all soon, and I promise I have a lot of pictures to add when I get our internet so be warned! lol!

I hear you hun how you feel I know that last weeks are soo hard!! I have been so itchy too it drives me nuts. Before you know it all that water weight will just go away!
Glad to hear that you are getting everything sorted out though. And you will be off work soon YAY!!!

Make sure they keep an eye on your blood pressure with the swelling, hun. Time has passed by so quickly for you and Rach, (at least in my little world LOL) pretty soon you'll both have your long awaited arrivals. Take care hun and thanks for the positive thoughts. Fingers crossed!

Hi babe! Glad you're still around! The hand thing sounds like it may be carpel tunnel?? A pregnant friend of mine said her hand is like a claw in the morning, she now wears a wrist support thing that was given to her by the physio, I'd mention it to your midwife though. Glad the house is almost sorted, we are on sky for phone internet etc, had no problems, they are really good! I'm still like a gorilla with the itching, not long to go!
