Dear friends, gotta share something wonderful that happened when I went to L&D on Sunday. It wasn't until later I realized how wonderful it was but this is what happened.. Baby Kaden was monitored for two hours and his heart beat would go anywhere from 140 to 180. Every time he moved, the heart accelerated. Both the nurse and doctor told me he was doing SO well. It didn't occur to me to ask what they meant, what they based their comments on.. It was a few days later I learned what they had meant, by reading a thread on another forum. The fact that the heart accelerates like that is a sign of maturity, one that is often not seen until around 32 weeks. So my little boy is truly doing well - and is a fighter, just like his name means. Although going to L&D was not my kind of fun, something good came out of it. I feel so much more hopeful and optimistic that all will be well with little Kaden.
