My little boy is now 1 month old - that is so hard to believe!! It seemed time moved in slow motion while I was pregnant, being on bed rest and all, and now it is going super fast. My boys are actually both 4 today - Kaleb is 4 years old, and Kaden 4 weeks. I took some pictures of them today and have uploaded a couple.
Kaden is doing really well. He feeds well, sleeps well and grows well. He now weighs 8lb 10oz compared to his birth weight at 6lb 4oz. He has also grown 2 inches. Sometimes I wish he would stay tiny forever and other times I can't wait to see what he looks like at 6 months, one year etc. So far he has looked so much like his brother and I wonder if that trend will continue. Unfortunately he also has clogged tear ducts like his brother had.. I hope he grows out of them quicker as Kaleb had it until he was 1 1/2.
Actually maybe I shouldn't say Kaden is always sleeping well. His routine is great during the day time but he has a fuzzy time that starts from about 10.30 pm and last anywhere from 1 1/2 to 3 hours. That has been a bit hard on me as I am so ready for bed at 10. In general I do feel so tired, it might be the breastfeeding.. Anyway, I think he gets gassy at night hence the fuzzy time. He gets a nice warm bath and a good long feed, so it can't be that. I hope he settles soon. But either way, the tiredness is a small price to pay for the happiness I am feeling these days. I still stare at him and can't believe I am this blessed! I think a lot about Kathleen as her birthday is coming up (March 27th) and it makes me appreciate my little Kaden even more.

I love the new photo. How sweet. Montana had that clogged tear duct when he was born and the doc gave me some eye drops and told me to massage his tear duct and around that area 2x a day and that cleared it up fast. I hope to read more blogs from you. busy busy taking care of two babies. I try my best to keep up w/ my IAP blogs.

wow 1 mo already time really does fly, your boys are beautiful Karin I love the pic. It is amazing I think about all that with Jake too he's going to be 4 mo on 4/5, I wish they would stay tiny and grow all at once. Theres better these days than holding my smiley baby it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Glad to hear you are doing well with your little guys! Is Joshua back to normal now? I know you had trouble with him while you were trying to restrict your activity. Thanks for the update.

It sounds like things are going really well for you :) I can't wait to be able to give Piper a bath. She still has her cord, so I can't do it until then. Sponge bath is all she's had. :) Piper has a fussy time at night too. It seems like all she wants to do from 7 until bed is nurse. I don't mind too much though. I call it our snuggle time since it's usually after my two older boys have gone to bed. I get my quality time with my little girl.
