My mood while writing this blog: over it really want to meet my lil boy now

Wednesday, 7th May

well time is ticking and it is running out. baby mason is due in 5wks it only feels like a couple of weeks ago we were having our scan and finding out the sex. i realised last week that there isnt much time to get out and get the last things i need so me and mum went out on the weekend and bought all the stuff i needed. eg nappy bag (big enough for 3kids stuff to fit in), wraps, cot sheets, thermometre, bath thermometre, warm blankets for outtings. decided to get both the boys new carseats that go up to 11years, i got sam one a few months ago but decided might as well put rory in one too. got rorys from repco through work as dp gets them factory price not retail so that saves us $60 which i only turned around and spent at pumpkin patch of course(as my bil says when us girls go to these sales we dont save money we just buy more).
had a 3d scan a few weeks ago I was dying to find out if this baby looked more like sam or rory or if he has a whole new look. so far people say he looks just like sam, mil thinks he looks more like rory either way he is deff one of our tribe lol.
baby has been doing great and is being perfect facing the right way and not measuring big he is actually a lil small but not too small. im just hoping 7lbs like sam not 8lbs like rory he was 8lb 8oz so all the clothes i packed for hospital were a lil small, sam would still fit prem size. i would like to put some of sams clothes to use lol.
hospital bags are now packed just need to put them in the car (decided no i dont want a homebirth) and sort out the carseats and how we will sort out how im gonna get home.

Friday, 16th May

I had my 1st weekly midwife app yesterday everything is going fine, baby still measuring small but he has grown enough to not be worried about. mw doesnt think we will be having a big baby this time, I'm hoping that doesnt change. Omg I soo want to go shopping as there is a great kids clothing store having a massive sale but I'm gonna wait til after Mason is born and go with out my older 2 and spend up large lol, I am soo looking forward to it. The store is only open for 7 more weeks so hope he doesnt come too late. I also want to get my older boys birthday shopping done I have a few things tucked away for Sam but nothing for Rory. Rory's bday isnt til july so I have time to sort his out but Sams is on the 18th June and with baby due 11th June im kind of cut for time.

Friday, 23rd May

well I am 37wks+ now and I am very ready for this baby to back an apparence. I have been having alot of braxton hicks and pains in my pelvic area, for the passed 2days the BH have been every half hr they seem to have died down at the moment but i still get the odd strong BH. He isnt engaged at all though he is sitting with his head very ready to come down when he is ready, hopefully all these BH I've been getting will be encoraging that head to desend. I have been swimming since 34wks and may try going fo a bit of a walk if i can find the energy. tomorrow we are heading to my MIL's to bury our beloved cat boris, who we sadly had to have put down due to kidneys failing, anyway, while out there will try the farm bike as that seemed to bring my 1st son's labour on so it may be worth a try, even just walking around the farm is worth a go lol. wish me luck
