28-10-2008 - Mason is now a very happy 4.5mth old

My mood while writing this blog: full of joy

Well i haven't actually written anything about how mason is doing.

Mason is such a happy wee fella he loves to chat and loves watching his older brothers play.

Mason is due for a check up in 2 weeks so im not sure of weight at the moment but at his last weigh in, in september he was 13lb which isnt bad as he is now the biggest baby at this age and he was the smallest by far at birth( he was 1lb 7oz smaller than Rory at birth) and is now wearing clothes that Rory was wearing at 1yr old that either shows me how small Rory was or how big Mason is.

Mason is now rolling which ever way he pleases and we bought him a new jolly jumper( we did already have one but it only clamped to the door frame) we bought a frame for it b4 we had Mason so that we could have him in the middle of the room as appossed to where we couldnt see him very well and we can put it up out side in the summer too. so we bought the new jolly jumper to go with it and he is in it at least twice a day and loves it. He loves having books read to him and loves listening to music even tries to sing and clap though he is only patting his leg at the moment.

We have tried starting solids but he just didnt seem ready so I will wait another month b4 trying again. he is still abit small for his highchair so i dont mind waiting til he is big enough.

I started taking him to playcentre and he loves watching to older kids playing.

cant believe xmas is almost hear already I have Masons presents all sorted and I cant wait, Im am finding the temptation of giving the boys there slide a bit early really hard to resist but the weather is crap which is making it easier to hold out lol. Mason has the cutest little outfit to wear for xmas, both sam and rory have worn it I just hope he will fit it this xmas. I bought him a very cut body suit it has reindeer all over it and a bib that says santas little helper and he has his own little santa hat to wear aswell.
